Your donation directly supports hands on efforts to restore and protect Austin’s waterways. Contributions help fund debris removal, invasive species control, native habitat restoration, and volunteer coordination on Lake Austin and Lady Bird Lake.
Where possible, donations also support training and work opportunities for veterans, at risk youth, and second chance individuals participating in restoration activities. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, your contribution is tax deductible.

Boat and Equipment Donations
Austin Waterway Guardians also accepts donated boats and water based equipment to support on the water cleanup, restoration, and volunteer operations on Lake Austin and Lady Bird Lake. Donated vessels and equipment are used directly in debris removal, invasive species management, habitat restoration, and program support.
Boat donations may be tax deductible, and donors receive formal acknowledgment consistent with IRS guidelines. If you are interested in donating a boat or water related equipment, please contact us to discuss next steps.
