Austin Waterway Guardians restores and protects Central Texas waterways through debris removal, invasive species control, and native habitat restoration. Our work improves water quality, protects native ecosystems, and preserves public access to Austin’s lakes and rivers.

Where possible, we also create meaningful training and work opportunities for veterans, at risk youth, and second chance individuals, demonstrating that environmental restoration can strengthen both ecosystems and communities.
